Terrain Model is an OpenGL and GLUT exercise which develops and displays a terrain model from a given digital elevation model (DEM) data given in a text file which contains height values of a terrain sampled at 20m intervals.

The scene contains a terrain and a moving light source which gives a basic day/night effect.

The terrain can be rotated around the y direction using the left and right arrow keys. Also, the user can display the height points on the terrain in color according to the height of the terrain by pressing the H key.

Screenshots will be added, soon.
